Cantine Tinazzi is in the province of Verona in Lazise on Lake Garda. The current premises, which also house the marketing and logistics offices of the Group, were built in 2000, following transfer from the historic headquarters in Cavaion Veronese in order to accommodate the continuous corporate growth and the need to manage and control production in a cutting-edge technological context.
In the Lazise headquarters, the vinification takes place of the grapes for the production of white wines and the Veneto wines of Casa Vitivinicola Tinazzi are also bottled there, for an overall production of around 2 million bottles/year. There is also a wine barrel storage area for ageing red wines in 5-, 10- and 20-hectolitre American and French oak barrels.
Since 2015, moreover, a new production facility, the Tinazzi Pressing Cellar, has been in operation. Located in Sant’Ambrogio in the heart of Valpolicella, it is furnished with modern vinification and withering equipment for the prestigious red wines of Verona, Amarone della Valpolicella and Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso, the company’s jewels in the crown.
Both facilities are furnished with a modern analysis laboratory to monitor all the delicate production phases in real time.
Production is controlled by Giuseppe Gallo and his team at all stages, from the vineyard to the bottle. All the tanks, made of 316 stainless steel, are monitored by a computerised system. A Wine Shop is available for visitors to the Cellar.
