Gruppo Tinazzi lands in Tuscany with historic Podere Pian del Gallo, located in the Chianti Classico DOCG area

After starting from the Veneto and reaching Apulia, we have now landed in Tuscany.

Gruppo Tinazzi expands once again: we have decided to make an investment in one of the leading Italian wine-producer regions – Tuscany – by purchasing historic Podere Pian del Gallo in the renowned Chianti Classico DOCG area.

Located on the Chianti hills in the Florence province, Pian del Gallo is a small organic winery covering 5.5 hectares boasting Chianti Classico DOCG and Toscana IGT vineyards and also featuring an accommodation business. There is also an olive grove producing excellent PDO extra-virgin olive oil. All agricultural productions have been cultivated employing organic techniques certified by ICEA for over 20 years.

The vineyards owned by Gruppo Tinazzi – Poderi Campopian in Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella (VR), Cascina Montelupo in Custoza (VR) and Tenuta Valleselle in Bardolino (VR) – welcome the addition of Podere Pian Del Gallo in Greve in Chianti (FI).
