After years of waiting, the estate bought in 2014 in Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella becomes a new wine tourism destination in the heart of Valpolicella classica.
The ancient farmhouse, the vineyards overlooking the lake and the new refurbished spaces are at the basis of an experience that will enable you to discover three local limited edition wines: Valpolicella DOP, Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso DOP and Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG.
Stroll among the vines at almost 700 m asl on a terrace caressed by the breeze from Lake Garda, toast with wines illustrating the identity of a territory, meet the producers and discover how Poderi Campopian bottles are born, a small feather in the Tinazzi cap.
In this evocative setting, you can enjoy three Campopian gems: Reguso Valpolicella DOP, Lunante Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso DOP and Marziale Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG.
Everything started in 2014 with the purchase of an estate featuring an 18th century farmhouse, 8 hectares of woods and 5 hectares of vineyards. Here, in the heart of Valpolicella Classico, Tinazzi started producing limited quantities of prestigious wines.
The renovation of the large farmhouse is almost over and, at the end of the conservative restoration work, it will become a farmhouse: it will soon be possible to spend the night there and enjoy an all-around wine tourism experience.
In the meantime, it is already possible to book privileged experiences for small groups of 2 to 8 people.
The programme includes a visit to the vineyards overlooking Lake Garda, the barrel cellar, the bottle storage room and, of course, a tasting session in the dedicated room.
All the rooms are in the former stables, boasting traditional Lessinia stone arched ceilings that contribute to the timeless charm of the estate.
The furnishing of the tasting area was curated down to the tiniest detail by our friends at Reverse, chosen by Tinazzi once again after having entrusted them with the renovation of the Lazise wine shop in 2021.
Reverse is not only an interior design studio, but also a production laboratory: it manages a network of workshops that develop its projects responsibly and in an artisan manner. One of them is to be found at the Casa Circondariale in Montorio, Verona), with the Reverse IN prison economy workshop.
This sustainable philosophy is precisely what Tinazzi chose to support with its Tinazzi R-Evolution project, therefore Campopian also becomes its standard bearer.
