The competition dedicated to red wines organized by Wine Pleasures reached its second edition. Here are our scores:

ALL THE AWARD-WINNING WINES
This rosé wine is obtained from Corvina (70%), Rondinella (10%) and Molinara (20%) grapes. The wine boasts a wide aroma, floral and fruity with notes of strawberry, raspberry and cherry. Recommended with light starters, fish, white meat, risotto and seafood pasta, but also works well with flavourful dishes thanks to its excellent acidity.
100% Trebbiano di Lugana, the Lugana part of the Ca’ de’ Rocchi line boasts a light straw-yellow colour. It boasts an intense aroma of citrus fruit, tropical fruit and stone fruit with notes of white flowers. Fresh and soft palate with a good minerality. Ideal as an aperitif as well as with entrées and pasta dishes, and even with sushi.
40% Garganega, 30% Cortese, 15% Trebbiano Toscano, 10% Trebbianello, 5% Chardonnay.
Straw-yellow colour with pale greenish highlights. Deep and fruity, pleasantly aromatic. Rich and harmonious flavour, paired with an excellent tanginess. It can be paired off with first and fish courses.
Corvina 80%, Corvinone 10% and Rondinella 10%.
Grapes are crushed in the Pressing Cellar in Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella
Our Aureum Acinum boasts a deep red colour and an aroma of cherry and sour cherry that integrates well with the spicy notes and a chocolate and liquorice finish. Assertive palate with a balanced tannin. Particularly suitable for structured meat courses such as the traditional meat braised in Amarone, but it is also ideal with mature cheeses.
90% Corvina e Corvinone, 10% Rondinella, grapes are crushed and destemmed in the Pressing Cellar in Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella In late December, the wine obtained is “added” to the freshly-pressed Amarone pomace to convey more body and structure to the wine. A bright red colour, with an aroma of plums and black cherries well integrated with spicy toasted notes. Assertive palate with a balanced tannin. Particularly suitable for autumn risottos, pasta and beans and various meat dishes.
100% Aglianico, Nyktos was introduced in 2023. The wine boasts a deep red colour with pomegranate highlights. Intense and enveloping aroma rich in mature red berry notes, especially cherry, fruits of the forest and raspberry.
Good structure on the palate, with a persistent finish. Perfectly paired with meat courses, roast meats and medium mature cheeses.
100% Primitivo, this rosé wine was introduced in 2023.
With a light pink colour, it boasts an aroma characterized by enveloping notes of red berry combined with slight floral sensations. Excellent freshness and saltiness with a pleasant persistent fruity finish. It pairs off well with first courses, fish and pizza.
